What if my family has different religious beliefs?

While our program is Christ-centered, we respect all families and focus on universal principles of wise decision-making, character development, and healthy relationships. Families of all backgrounds have found value in the practical life skills taught, even when they don't share our specific faith perspective.

  • How much time commitment is required?

Teens attend one 2-hour session per week for 10 weeks, plus a kickoff retreat and final celebration. Parents attend 3 workshops (2 hours each) and the family events. Total commitment is approximately 30 hours over 10 weeks for maximum impact.

  • What happens if my teen can't attend every session?

We understand life happens. We allow up to 2 missed sessions with makeup opportunities. However, the program's power comes from the group dynamic and progressive curriculum, so consistent attendance is crucial for success.

  • Will this help with college applications?

Yes! Graduates receive a digital badge and transcript letter documenting their completion of decision-making education, community service hours, and leadership development. Many colleges value this type of character formation and community engagement.

  • How are scholarship recipients selected?

A review panel including CFADD leadership, community influencers, an educator, and youth pastor evaluate applications based on the essay/video submission, community endorsement, demonstrated need, and commitment to the program's values and requirements.

  • What ongoing support is available after the program?

Graduates become part of our CFADD alumni network with access to ongoing mentorship, advanced workshops, college preparation support, and opportunities to mentor future program participants. We maintain relationships with families long-term.
