The CFADD Scholarship
The CFADD Scholarship at Southern Wesleyan University is a new initiative available to students whose families attend CFADD Chapter churches.
It is equivalent to our highest academic award, the Presidential Scholarship, which can cover up to 50% of tuition.
Southern Wesleyan University is grateful for CFADD’s work of building and sustaining strong families and strong generational heritages by promoting a biblical worldview and God First lifestyle. This scholarship is designed to create opportunities for mission aligned young men and women who seek to further their education in an academic environment characterized by biblical faithfulness.
The Church Matching Scholarship
The Church Matching Scholarship creates an avenue for the local church, in conjunction with Southern Wesleyan University, to be an active part in the lives of their students. By investing in your student’s college education you help provide a life-shaping experience.
- Southern Wesleyan University will match up to $1,000 per year ($500 per semester).
- Gifts must be from the church or district and not money directly funneled from family members.
- New and returning students are eligible.
- The scholarship form (for fall semester) deadline is August 1; funds must be received by October 1.
- Students must be degree-seeking students in the traditional program and must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester.
