Exercising chastity prevents unplanned pregnancies, contracting STIs, and individuals from experiencing emotional, social, and spiritual damage. The most precious thing a person can give their future spouse is their virginity. 

In Corinthians, it reads, “Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.” To practice a life of abstinence before marriage makes it easier to live a God-first lifestyle.
