Nearly 50% of all marriages end in divorce or separation. Divorce can cause significant emotional damage in the home and potentially lead to financial problems.

God designed marriage to benefit men, women, and children. Marriage is to be a haven of security, love, and wholeness. When divorce occurs, these issues are tested and often lead to despair and uncertainty. As parents, we should teach our children about the commitment made in marriage and set an example to keep that bond strong.

If we do not put our best efforts into marriage, our children won’t understand or seek to know more about its divine purpose.
