He became a born again Christian October 23, 1988 under the preaching of the Late Bishop Otis Lockett Sr. at Evangel Fellowship COGIC. While there he received his call into ministry in 1991.

He is a graduate of the University of NC Greensboro where he received his BS degree in Management & Marketing in 1992.

Pastor Corbett served as an Assistant Pastor at Faith Harvest Fellowship Church, Greensboro NC from 1996 to 2004. He then served as an Elder at Love Fellowship COGIC of Burlington NC under the leadership of Supt. Chris Stone from 2006 to 2014.

In 2014, Pastor Corbett received his call to become the Pastor of Lighthouse Fellowship COGIC where he currently serves as the Senior Pastor in the great city of Mebane, NC.

In 2017, Pastor Corbett was appointed to serve as AIM Vice Chairman of the NC 3 rd  Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction under the leadership of Jurisdictional Prelate Bishop Patrick L Wooden, Sr.

He has been married to the beautiful Melody Corbett his college sweetheart for 29 years and he has two sons named Robert and Zachary Corbett.

Pastor Corbett has two passions in life…. 1- to help hurting people who are broken and 2- to reach the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He also believes very strongly that the Body of Christ should strive for unity and work together to win their communities, cities, and world for Jesus Christ.
