A Woman Like Me Doesn’t Need Abortion to Succeed.

Being faced with the decision to have or not have an abortion is a serious issue that takes a lot of prayer, thinking, and counseling.

Pregnant and unmarried, I was faced with the dilemma of making a decision of moving forward in life with or without my child in my womb. I thought about the circumstance that I found myself in for months before I made my final decision. This was definitely an intersection in my life and is a crossroad in any woman’s life that alters one’s future and your life forever. This decision has to be made with the assistance of prayer and wise counseling.
As I contemplated my situation, I weighed both sides. Some thoughts that I could not ignore were…if I have an abortion, it could destroy my womb and I may be unable to have children in the future. If I kill my baby, I may slip into a deep depression which will likely be even more difficult when I see other children.

The enemy is after your SEED!

After serious Christian counseling and prayer, I decided to have my child. It was a hard decision but it was definitely the RIGHT decision. Yes, I struggled at first. Yes, I didn’t have all of the answers. Yes, I was on welfare for a couple of years. BUT…if I had the opportunity to do it all over again, I would make the same decision. I would say YES to having my daughter.
Today, my daughter is 34 years old. She is beautiful, loves God, is married and has three handsome sons along with a thriving career. If I would have allowed the enemy to coax me into making the decision to abort, I would have killed my seed and possibly my future seed. To see my beautiful daughter and her family is a success anyway you look at it. Was it easy? NO! Was it worth it? YES!!
If you are faced with this decision, you are not alone.

  • Find a strong church where the Word of God is being taught so that you can understand God and how He operates. When you find a good church, stay in the house of God. Spend time with believers so that you can be continually built up by the Word.
  • Pray and ask God for wisdom and direction. The Holy Spirit will never leave you. He will guide you and comfort you.
  • The presence of God is your strength. There is power in His presence. Stay connected to Him by reading the Word of God, praying, meditating on t he Word, and worshipping Him.

You can be successful without having an abortion.

After having my daughter and raising her as a single parent, I married a man of God and was blessed with three more children. Seven years after my oldest daughter, I gave birth to twins. After the twins, I had another daughter. Today, I have four beautiful daughters and four son in laws with a total of seven grandchildren and our family is still growing!

The enemy wants your seed—your children and your grandchildren. Protect your SEED! The fruit of the womb is God’s reward.

Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.
(Psalm 127:3-5).

When a woman is giving birth, she has sorrow because her hour has come, but when she has delivered the baby, she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy that a human being has been born into the world (John 16:21).

I pray that if you are contemplating abortion, that my words will help encourage you to hold on to God’s Word. He is your provider. He will see you through. Your womb is anointed and children are a blessing from God. It will not be easy but with God—it will be possible!
